Meet the Man Who Escaped Vietnam to Start an Education Company
Hao Lam escaped Vietnam in the eighties after the fall of Saigon. After multiple failed attempts to leave the communist country, including a few brushes with gunfire, Lam made it out as a refugee. Eventually, he became the CEO and chair of Best in Class, an education company providing supplemental lessons to students.
Hao joins us to share his incredible journey, and discuss how he achieved his very own American dream. His company just opened its fiftieth location, proving even education can be scaled by small business owners. He says he’s been passionate about education from an early age, and is using his life experience to help enrich the lives of children around the country.
